Mining equipment - extend air filter life up to 12x

Improve three areas on your fleet with one solution - air precleaners

Like they say - there is always ways room for improvement...

air precleaners for mobile mining equipment

How do precleaners work?

1. Once connected to your equipment's air intake, dirty air enters the precleaner
2. Air passes through angles vanes, which are designed to precisely direct air flow and move the dirty air towards the impeller
3. Air continues to move toward the one-piece impeller which creates a tornado inside the housing
4. The centrifugal force of the tornado kicks dirt particles, chaff, dust, snow, rain and almost anything else out of the discharge louver
5. The newly cleaned air then enters the engine intake pipe, leaving only very light particles to be removed through the filter

Air precleaner Q & A

Q: Where have the air precleaners been tested on haul trucks?

A: Air precleaner haul truck kits have been tested at the largest coal and copper mines including the following states: WY, UT, AZ, NV, ND

Q: Our dust / dirt is different than anything you've probably seen?
A: Our air precleaners have been tested in various environments and climates; coal, overburden, copper and gold.

Temperatures have been as low as -40°F windchill up to 100°F+. Steep grade operations and level, they have performed in dry heat and high humidity

Q: We change filters at every PM and we can't get our maintenance team to change
A: Even if you do change filters at 500 hours, you remove the need to clean out the honeycomb system or replace the dust ejector valves in the air cleaner.

This leads to reduced restriction and improved engine performance. Additionally, air filters will weigh dramatically less which helps prevent back injuries while changing filters.

Mammoth recognizes the impact of having equipment down on mining operations. The CAT 793C haul truck is a common machine found on many sites globally. As a result of discussion with many site mobile maintenance teams, Mammoth has reverse engineered the exhaust kit for this haul truck with the C175-16 engine. This includes: Pipes 156-6237 2W-9078 156-6247 8X-3361 8X-3360 8X-3135 7C-3337 155-0528 242-8869 8X-3142 Mufflers 7E-6811 Brackets 8X-3130 8X-5103 8X-2850 8X-3128 8X-3132 Clamps 1W-4161 2W-8851 7E-8452 6N-9298 Improvements made by the Mammoth engineering team have proved to extend component life and increase equipment uptime . Some of the improvements made include upgraded flanges, heavy gauge steel pipe with fitted blanket kit available and enhanced exhaust flex bellows . All components are a direct fit replacement to the OEM factory supplied components for easy, simple and quick installation. Components stocked at multiple warehouse locations across North America.
